Frequently Asked Questions

Can I swim outside in the pool?

No, in the period from 1 September to 30 April you can only swim indoors.

I would like to go swimming, can I just drop by and go for a swim?

No, swimming is only possible after purchasing  a pass and reserving an entry time slot via our app or via our website.

Why do I need to reserve an entry time slot?

Because this is the only way we can ensure that it doesn’t get too busy in the water.

What is an entry time slot?

You can only come swimming if you have reserved a time period in advance in which you want to go swimming. The entry time slot lasts 30 minutes. This means that during this time you must have scanned your pass at the reception in the hall of the swimming pool. Example: if you want to start swimming within the entry time of 07:45 – 08:15, you must go through the access control during these 30 minutes. If you are too early or too late for your booked entry time, you must ask the reception for permission to enter.

How do I get login details?

You will receive login details to make a reservation by e-mail after purchasing a pass. Login lost? Click on “forgot password” in the app or drop by the reception in the pool (opening hours).

The water that flows ‘over the edge’ of the pool is drained to an underground installation, cleaned, heated and returned via a system underneath the swimming pool. The water is cleaned through, among other things, adding chlorine. Because the pool system makes this chlorine by means of salt electrolysis, the dosage is much lower than you are maybe used to, and you do not smell the “classic” chlorine smell in the water or the pool area.

What are the facilities for the disabled, can I enter the pool with my wheelchair?

No, in our swimming pool all swimming lessons are given by the Zwemschool Frans Heus.

There is ample room for both bicycles and cars. Paid parking applies to cars on working days between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. Lap swimmers with an ‘Unlimited Lap Swimming’ pass can purchase a parking permit for a reduced rate at the reception.
