Swimming at the Krommerijn pool is – to some extent – a serious matter. We do not have slides, inflatable toys a wave pool. In our pool you can simply enjoy swimming: as fast as you can, as well as you can, as much as you can, or purely for relaxation. Read below more about our programs and activities:

Lap Swimming

Lap Swimming is for swimmers who like to swim independently and at their own pace. Lap swimming is offered almost every day. Lap swimming will improve your endurance, burn calories and provides overall fitness conditioning. If you also want to improve your stroke technique then you can do with the separate course: Swim Perfect.


SwimPerfect is designed for lap swimmers who swim at least 1x per week. A qualified coach will offer tips and instruction in order to improve your swimming technique.

How often can you practice?

Once a week you can practice your technique for an hour. Within fixed time slots, you decide when you start your practice session.

Individual coaching

During the first training session, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your personal goals with the coach.


You may participate in SwimPerfect if have one of the lap swimming passes. The SwimPerfect training classes occur from January 8 to April 20, 2018. You can participate 1x per week.

SwimPerfect takes place every business day from 7.15 to 9:30 AM and 11.00 AM-12.30 PM. In the first half hour of a practice session, every 15 minutes a block starts with three participants.


Participation in Swim Perfect is possible only if you are in possession of a valid lap swimming pass. The cost for the SwimPerfect training classes are a surcharge for the pass holders

‘Trimzwemmen’ or Swim Training

Swim Training is all about improving your fitness level and swimming based on a program. During the Swim Training time slots, a professional trainer will be present. There are two types of ‘trim swim’ activities:

  • Condition Improvement:

The trainer helps you improve your fitness and swimming technique: whether it is to improve your stroke technique, body position turns or another aspect. For those not in need of tips: Swim Training is also very enjoyable, and super motivating because it is done with a group.

  • Master Swimming:

Master Swimming is for more proficient swimmers who want a more intense training program and optionally compete in swim meets Lanes area allocated based on your swim speed and you can also different strokes. The speed ranges from a comfortable pace to race pace. The practices are intensive but very effective
